True to size. 7.25" Mellon and fit is spot on (L/XL). Color Ranger Green spot on..very important detail there. Solid build and happy with it. Ready to deploy right out of package, no need for a lighter or edged weapon to "clean up" loose threads n' whatnot. I'll be looking to pick up a few more colors in the near future. Tiger stripe is my second hat purchase. I feel the multicam hat I purchased a few years ago is a little deeper and sits further down on my head but the tiger stripe seems made a little tougher. Overall satisfied.

Love these hats, wish the crown was a little bit less structured and the elastic lasted a little bit longer, but it is what it is. I go through two or three of these hats a year and will continue to buy them. It is difficult to find a full multicam in small to medium in stock. When I do I buy as many as I can.

The only item that I am disappointed with, and this is due to my not reading, is that the back panels are not elastic mesh.
My other two RF Factors hats have elastic mesh panels at the rear of the hat and I just assumed that this hat would have the same. It does not and that is the only thing that I can complain about.

This is one of my favorite caps from your company. I have four now and like them all . The fit is perfect and I like the low profile. Also very good price for a well made hat. My only concern is that so many of your hats are on backorder that I wasn't able to get some of my favorites. Suppy chain issues are hurting everyone I guess.

Like all flex fit hats the elastic has to be broken in a little bit but it’s an awesome hat. Fabric blacker than my soul….just kidding I’m a ginger I don’t have a soul. Seriously though, hat is better than a (now out of business?) competitors hat that has a monkey in their name/logo and use military specificities. ;-) the “mesh” back side of the hat easily allows heat to escape. And the build quality of the materials just feels better than other hats.

Us Grunts brake, tear and rip everything to pieces. It's kinda what WE DO....So the fatc that I have one from like 6 years ago is a testament unto itself. This is my third variation of this hat in Multicam Arid as well as grey and Woodland. Excellent hat that doesn't make you look like an operator while giving you some of the benefits of what an operator's hat should have. It's a shame these are no longer being offered, but I guess that is what stocking up is for.

This Blasting Cap is one of the best caps I have ever had! Likely the best ball cap ever.
Pros: comfortable, velcro on front and back for patches/ identifiers, and they look great!
Negative: I have a big head, and if I didn’t have super short hair, I don’t see how this XL could fit me. So not much of a “negative”, but something to be aware of.

I prefer adjustable ball caps because manufacturers size the flex fit styles differently. Fortunately the large/x-large fit fine. Love the woodland Camo pattern and the blaze orange interior.

Love the functionality of the hat! It’s very well thought out. I’m giving it a 4 stars, but really it’s a 4 3/4 because I really do love it and I wear it all the time, but having a little bit of tension adjustability or just a tighter sweatband would make it 5 stars for me. This became apparent to me when I tried to run with it on. If a headwind comes at me, then the hat flies off. It also once flew off while I was on a boat going 20mph (won’t blame the design for that one really), but I think it’s worth noting that the hat floated on the water long enough for me to turn around and find it in the wake and retrieve it. It was dry within about an hour too!

This hat fits perfectly! I like how the top part is flat so you can use ear pros comfortably. Be advised though, you need a patch for the front and one for the back of the hat.

Best tactical hat out there...
I used to wear a hat made by a major outdoor clothing company that's similar to this one, but in the newer versions the size is now off and it has a netted back which I dislike. I searched everywhere to replace the older version and found this hat. Once it arrived, it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. The signaling panel inside is a great addition, and the hat is very comfortable. Should serve me well in the years to come.

1 Recommendation to REFT: the original Multicam I purchased several years ago had a softer fabric and the camo pattern was across the entire hat ( not just the front half). If you can go back to that style, we would be quite happy.

The best fitting hat I have had. Good color selection... however I would like to see a dark navy blue in the lineup. It would be a must have for fire and law enforcement uniforms.
I’ve tried calling the company for the item number so I could purchase a dark navy blue hat with no luck.

So besides the fact that this hat is good quality and well made, it fits me absolutely perfect. I have a very hard time finding a hat that will fit my head, I run a little on the small side, so I will pay a little extra if I can find a hat that actually fits. And honestly for the quality of this hat $30 is a very fair price. I will be buying a few more for sure.

The flex fit is super comfy. Having the option between S/M and L is clutch because not all heads are universal. Material is high quality and feels sturdy compared to other caps on the market. The Velcro is solid, not protruding from hat too much which allows patches to be more streamline and not sticking out like some chode licker. I hope they come out with more multicam or tiger stripe designs. Best hat!

New Favorite Hat
Bought this hat in grey to be an everyday field hat for the job site. The fit, materials, and general construction are top notch. I wear it with a subdued silver flag patch from another vendor and its a perfect match. The hat comfortable and for someone with a smaller dome, the S/M fits PERFECT. Usually my flexfit hat are a little loose and require a hold down in the wind... not the case here. I'm going to be asking for another 1 or 2 of these come xmas time. Great Hat!

My favorite hat
This is my favorite hat ever. I bought the original multicam blasting cap in 2014 while deployed in Afghanistan. I wear it every single day, but finally my wife says I have to "retire" it because it smells, it's falling apart, and it looks dirty. To be fair, it's endured AFG, a dog chewing the crap out of it, and all the elements. Now its time to get a new one! Refactor, this is truly a great product!
